I believe that anyone can become a photographer. With enough practice, one can become proficient in exposure, composition, and lighting. However creating thoughtful, lasting images that evoke a response is the product of something more and not so easily taught.

For over 20 years, I have been in and around the photographic arts. Over that time I have cultivated a keen sense of observation, a patient demeanor, and a knack for telling stories through the lens. Piecing together these soft skills with advanced technical knowledge has helped me create unique images while conveying broader, thought provoking concepts.

I am based in Oakland, CA. When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me at the beach or hiking a mountain trail.
